Carolina Cigognini

Carolina Cigognini is of Counsel at BCM LAW. She graduated in Law from the University of Milan and has been a lawyer since 2014.
Carolina assists Italian and foreign clients and deals mainly to providing legal and contract advice on ordinary and extraordinary operations and with regard to litigation.
She works with a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the luxury and fashion sectors, with an emphasis on the protection of industrial property rights. Carolina is in fact a graduate with honours of a Master of Law (LLM, Fashion Law) from the Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome with a thesis on the intellectual property protection of bidimensional signs with a focus on decorative motifs for fabrics.
Carolina has also gained extensive experience in relation to extraordinary real estate transactions, advising on managing real estate assets and, in general, the law concerning real estate brokerage and residential and commercial leases.
She also assists in relation to inter-company relationships, labour law and industrial relations, including employment, consultancy and collaboration contracts, as well as employment disputes.
Carolina actively cooperates with a law school with a view to prepare candidates for the bar exam. Her background includes an internship in Brussels at the European Parliament Committee on Legal Affairs, during which she worked mainly on copyright and intellectual property law.
